Submit your own Article
If you would like to submit an article for publication by the WBCA,
the following guidelines apply:
Guidelines for submitting articles
The WBCA works actively to promote its members and raise the profile of
women in business. If you would like to contribute articles for publication
on our website or in our newsletter you need to supply the following information.
- Your article
- A professional profile of the author
- A photograph (optional)
Article Length
- The article should be no more than 1200 words
- The professional profile should be no more than 50 words
- Please state the total word count at the end of article
including professional profile
Article Content
- Your article should include up to date and relevant knowledge and although
publication may generate interest in your business, it should not be written as
an advertisement.
- Where facts and figures are quoted they should be qualified and
the source should be identified.
- Please identify a short quote or heading that may be used to catch the
readers attention.
Article Format
- Articles should be supplied in Microsoft Word at a version no lower than
Word 98 or as email as text.
- Photographs submitted electronically should be a .jpg or .gif file and no
larger than 100 kilobytes.
- Hard copy photographs will be retained by WBCA unless a stamped return
addressed envelope is supplied by you.
Please Note
- By submitting an article to WBCA for publication you release all rights
to WBCA to publish the article.
- WBCA reserves the right to make minor changes in the editing process.
- WBCA reserves the right not to publish articles that do not meet our requirements.
- WBCA does not pay for articles for its publications - all contributions are voluntary.
